Where are the savings?

If you're just visiting the site, you can reach the public promotions by placing your curser over any of the main headings and selecting Public Promotions from the drop down menu. However, by becoming a member you'll be exposed to many more savings opportunities created by our business members that are not available to the general public.

It's not necessary to become a member to benefit from ClickerShock. In fact we allow any local business to post a listing for free as long as they create and honor a default promotional offer that is available to all site visitors.
However, whether you're a resident, visitor or local business, we guarantee the value of membership benefits will far outweigh the cost.
Plus, a portion of every membership supports a fund-raising partner organization. It's a winning formula for the whole community.

How do I benefit from ClickerShock?
|

By participating. When you join ClickerShock, you'll begin receiving promotions from local companies based on personal interests and parameters you set. You can even customize your interests according to proximity to your home, work and a third "bonus" location. So for instance, if you are only interested in "lunch specials" within a five mile radius of your work place, you can customize that preference in your profile of interest.
The more offers you redeem the more encouraged our business members are to offer additional promotions to keep you coming back.

What does a membership cost?
|
|
Full consumer memberships cost $25 for a 6-month subscription. Student membership subscriptions are active for 6 months as well for a discounted fee of $12.
Temporary "Visitor" memberships are available for $10. The Visitor membership expires 5 days after registration.
Business memberships currently cost $30 annually for Charter Member registrants.

I'm just visiting, why would I subscribe?

Many of our local businesses would like the opportuntiy to impress you during your stay. So we've created a special 5-day membership especially for our business and tourist visitors. The cost is $10 and a single visit to one of our fine participating restaurants businesses or attractions that cater to our visitor community will more than recover the cost of your temporary membership.

Tell me about the videos
|

As more and more people have access to high speed Internet, video streaming on web sites is becoming more popular. On Clickershock, we have short Showcase video presentations of local businesses and area attractions.
We do this so local companies can tell you a lot more about themselves in a short amount of time than is possible with just print and text.
If, as the saying goes "a picture is worth a thousands words" a thirty second video has the power of 900,000 words!
Plus, unlike TV, Showcase videos are accessible at the viewers's convenience - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I operate a local business. How do I join?
|
|
Two ways. You may have been solicited by a neighborhood fund-raising group, partnering with ClickerShock. By contributing $30 to the group you will receive a pre-paid code used to set up your profile on the site and allow you to access the full compliment of marketing tools.
You can also register online with a major credit card. All active fund-raising partners are listed and you can check the appropriate group to contribute to their organization.

What if I don't have access to a printer?
|

One of the many convenient features of ClickerShock is it enables you to send a special code to your cell phone to redeem promotional offers. This option means you'll never miss a savings opportunity because you forgot to bring a coupon with you before leaving your home or hotel room.
